Position Overview Permanent, full-time position 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed) Level IV Trauma Center Fast-paced, high-volume Emergency Department Collaborative team with strong support staff Compensation & Incentives Pay range: $31.00 – $47.00 per hour (based on experience) Comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for career growth and development Key Responsibilities Provide rapid assessment and care for patients in emergency situations Manage a wide range of conditions including trauma, cardiac, and neurological cases Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical team members Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols Requirements Experience & Skills Minimum 2 years of RN experience (Required) Emergency Room experience strongly preferred Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills Licensure & Certifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (Required) Unit & Facility Details 30 private ER rooms 6-room Emergency Department Observation Unit (EDOU) 6 fast-track beds for lower acuity cases 1 seclusion room + 5 monitored rooms Nurse-to-patient ratio: typically 1:3 or 1:4 Approximately 100 patients seen per day Support staff includes 5 ER techs during peak hours EMR: Allscripts (Sunrise) Medication system: Omnicell Schedule Full-time 3x12-hour shifts 36-hour weekly guarantee Why This Opportunity
