Locum Emergency Medicine Physician needed starting as soon as credentialed in the northeast TX area.
Target Start: As soon as Credentialed
Length of Assignment: 1 year
Minimum # of Shifts Acceptable Per Month: 5
Staffing Model MD/DO: 25.86 hours of MD coverage daily
Staffing Model NP/PA: 11.29 hours of NPPA coverage daily
Physician Shift Times: Monday: 7a-4p, 1p-9p, & 9p-7a. Sunday & Tues-Thursday: 7a-3p, 2p-10p, & 9p-7a. Friday - Sunday : 7a-7p & 7p-7a
NP/PA Shift Times: Mon-Tues: 10a-10p. Wed-Sun: 10a-9p
Annual Volume: About 24,000 patients
Patients per Day: About 65/day
% EMS: About 18.3%
% Admitted Patients: About 10%
Scribe Coverage: None
ED Beds & Fast Track BEDS: 15 ED beds, + 2 Fast Track Beds
Backup Specialties: Ortho, GI, Telenephrology, Teleneuro, & Telepsych
EMR System: EPIC
Certification Requirements: Active TX License. Will accept ABEM only.
Privileging Timeframe: 90+ days
Expedited Privileges for Locum Providers? Temps are possible but even with temps, its still about a 60 day+ credentialing timeframe
