About the Role
MasTec - - Responsibilities: Support the Horizontal Directional Drill Operator by locating and tracking the drill head to ensure accurate bore alignment, depth, and safe routing; Read and interpret utility locates, prints, and construction drawings, and coordinate daylighting/potholing of existing underground facilities; Ensure the safety of the crew, public, and existing underground utilities while adjusting bore paths for varying terrain and field obstacles; Assist with setup, transport, inspection, and troubleshooting of drilling equipment and support vehicles; Work 50+ hours per week and travel approximately 50% throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin
