About this Job: This position is offering a $10,000 Dollar Sign on Bonus This is a full-time 36 hour per week position and the schedule is TBD. Medstar Health is looking for a Diagnostic Technologist to join our team!We are looking for fora registered Radiology Technologist with excellent communication skills.
The Diagnostic Technologist will make a difference on our team by performing diagnostic medical radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures through one of the largest healthcare systems in the Baltimore-Washington metro region, also recognized as one of the \"Healthiest Maryland Businesses\". Sends images to appropriate destinations for interpretation. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Reports any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions. Maintains X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order. Performs preventative maintenance regularly.Obtains patient history, answers patient questions, and explains procedures. Transports patients to radiographic room and prepares and maintains room.Performs radiographic examinations. Prepares writtendocumentation such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports. Requests and orders supply. Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED.Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the State of Maryland.Basic Life Support (BLS).Associate degree preferred.
This position has a hiring range of : USD $29.73 - USD $48.73 /Hr.
