About the Role
Position Overview The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is committed to ensuring a diverse workforce and providing opportunities that promote a healthy, safe, and stable environment for residents. This position is responsible for performing quality assurance for lead hazard control activities within MDHHS and with external agencies. The incumbent will conduct quality audits, develop audit outcome reports, establish reporting metrics, and advise internal and external programs on improving work quality. The role supports the Environmental Community Services Division in assuring the quality of lead identification and abatement work. Responsibilities Perform quality audits of lead hazard control activities and related systems data. Develop audit outcome reports and reporting metrics. Advise internal and external programs on recommendations to improve quality of lead identification and abatement. Collaborate with internal staff to identify best practices and areas needing improvement related to lead identification and abatement. Assist the Manager in developing metrics and reports related to data quality for systems and quality assurance work. Qualifications Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major. A high‑school diploma or equivalent combined with at least two years of full‑time active‑duty experience at or above the E‑6 level in the uniformed services may satisfy the education requirement. Experience: Departmental Analyst 9: No specific type or amount of experience required. Departmental Analyst 10: One year of professional experience. Departmental Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience, including at least one year equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service. Location The position is located at 333 South Grand Avenue, Lansing, MI. Remote work or a hybrid schedule may be considered, but work must be performed within Michigan. Conditions of Employment Successful completion of a background investigation and criminal records check is required.
