The Data Manager is responsible for supporting the Intercambio team with data management and data analysis, ensuring positive outcomes through the seamless and secure flow of information within and outside the organization. This position will ensure the timely access and delivery of data, and identifying efficient methods to organize, store, and analyze data while maintaining strict security and confidentiality measures. The primary objective will be to implement effective data management practices and contribute to the overall success of our organization. This position is part-time (15-20 hours per week) and reports to the Director of Operations. This role will be hybrid and is expected to work from home and in our Boulder and Longmont offices each week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Maintain dashboards and recurring reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs).
•Support staff in the effective daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to data standards and practices.
•Help develop and maintain policies and procedures for consistent, high-quality data management.
•Improve processes for data collection to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
•Provide data extraction and reporting support across teams as needed.
•Monitor and troubleshoot data systems and recommend improvements, upgrades, or new tools when appropriate.
•Support staff in translating data into clear, actionable insights.
•Streamline internal workflows for data analysis and reporting.
•Update data entry forms, training materials, and user guides to support consistent system use.
•Document database workflows, customizations, and data entry processes across Intercambio systems.
•Provide monthly data cleanup and entry support in collaboration with program staff.
•Identify opportunities to better demonstrate program impact using existing data sources.
•Partner with leadership to identify priority reporting needs and improvement areas.
•Collaborate across teams to strengthen data collection and reporting practices.
•Prepare regular summary reports for leadership highlighting trends, patterns, and key insights.
•Keep leadership informed of data system issues and emerging needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
•Commitment to Intercambio’s mission and strategic vision.
•Relevant work experience or a degree demonstrating strong comfort working with data and numbers.
•Experience supporting data administration and management processes.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
•Experience working with databases and structured data systems.
•Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
•Technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot data system issues.
•Ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
•Experience organizing, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets.
•Strong time-management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
•Ability to synthesize findings and present insights to staff and leadership.
•Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across a diverse team.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
Salary Range: $25-$30/hourly depending on experience. Intercambio also offers a competitive benefits package that includes:
