Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable data pipelines for large structured & unstructured datasets
• Perform data ingestion, cleaning, transformation, and validation
• Develop data models and support analytics, BI, and machine learning use cases
• Implement data quality checks and optimize data processing workflows
• Work with data science & BI teams for reporting and insights
• Build and maintain data infrastructure on cloud platforms
• Handle streaming data using Kafka/Spark
• Mentor junior engineers and lead data engineering initiatives

Required Skills:

• 7+ years IT experience, 5+ years in Data Engineering/ETL
• Strong experience with Big Data tools: Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka
• Hands-on with Databricks (Delta Lake, Notebooks, DLT, Unity Catalog)
• Strong SQL + PySpark/Spark SQL
• Experience in data pipeline development & optimization
• Cloud experience: GCP / AWS / Azure
• Knowledge of streaming (Kafka, Spark Streaming)
• Agile (Scrum/Kanban) experience
