Now Hiring: Data Architect (Healthcare) – Houston, TX
TruBlu HR Solutions is partnering with a leading, nationally recognized pediatric healthcare system in the Houston area to hire an experienced Data Architect for a long-term contract opportunity.
Location: Houston, TX 77401 (Hybrid – onsite approximately once per month; must be within driving distance to the department)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Duration: June 2026 – January 2027 (potential for extension)
About the Role
This is a senior-level opportunity for a Data Architect to play a critical role in shaping enterprise data strategy, governance, and quality. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to ensure data integrity, standardization, and accessibility across complex healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise data architecture, design, and implementation across multiple platforms
- Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, metadata standards, and business rules
- Drive data quality initiatives, including validation, auditing, and cleansing efforts
- Partner with stakeholders to support data warehouse and business intelligence solutions
- Analyze and resolve data integrity issues (accuracy, consistency, completeness)
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and infrastructure for data management
- Participate in technical deep dives to understand data flow and system integrations
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, and client-server systems
- Strong experience with RDBMS, data modeling, and full SDLC
- Proven expertise in data governance, data quality, and enterprise data architecture
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Education
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, Business, or related field preferred
