Compensation Competitive BigLaw compensation structure Estimated base salary range: $235,000 to $310,000 Comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities Why This Opportunity Work with a nationally recognized cybersecurity and investigations practice Exposure to complex cyber incidents and regulatory issues Direct mentorship and strong advancement opportunities Collaborative culture with sophisticated clients across industries Job Details Responsibilities Advise clients on cybersecurity, data privacy, and technology related regulatory matters Assist with incident response and crisis management for cyber events and data breaches Support government and internal investigations involving technology related issues Counsel clients on compliance with federal and state cybersecurity laws and regulations Analyze complex technical issues related to information security and data governance Work collaboratively with attorneys across a national practice group on high stakes matters Qualifications JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials Admission to the DC Bar or ability to obtain admission 2 to 4 years of experience in cybersecurity law, privacy law, government investigations, or related practice areas Experience in a law firm, government agency, or technology focused legal role preferred Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations and frameworks such as: Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) CMMC 2.0 Cyber Incident Reporting for Critical Infrastructure Act (CIRCIA) SEC Cybersecurity Disclosure Rule HIPAA Security Rule GLBA Safeguards Rule NIST Cybersecurity Framework SOC 2 and PCI DSS Technical background in computer science, information technology, engineering, or cybersecurity strongly preferred Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills Ability to work independently in fast paced, high pressure matters Interested in hearing more?
