Primary Purpose The Cyber Security Engineer will execute tactical elements of the security strategy, acting as a liaison to architecture and operations teams to implement effective security solutions. Primary Duties Provide cybersecurity guidance to leadership and stakeholders. Resolve incidents, vulnerability compliance, and implement security configurations. Collaborate with Vulnerability Management and application teams for secure transition. Assist with vulnerability mitigation, incident remediation, and change management. Scope The CSE works closely with Cloud, Infrastructure, and Utility IT/OT clients to implement security configurations, provide analytical recommendations, act as a senior technical lead, develop monitoring automation, and support remediation efforts. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline, and 8+ years in cyber security. At least 5-8 years of security engineering experience. Knowledge of encryption algorithms, database systems, embedded systems, and operating systems. Experience with IT and OT security principles, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and change management. Demonstrated leadership, analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in cyber security or related area. Relevant security certifications (CISSP, GIAC, etc.). Hands‑on expertise in operating systems, networking, mobility, cryptography, and network security engineering. Strong scripting and programming skills. Experience with Industrial Control Systems and SCADA environments. Benefits Annual salary $98,400 – $135,300.
