About the Role

As a Cyber Security Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of cybersecurity solutions to protect our critical assets and information. Your role will involve collaborating with cross‑functional teams and contributing to the development of secure systems. You will report directly to our Cyber Security Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the security posture of our systems, ensuring that they are resilient against emerging threats and vulnerabilities. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the design and implementation of cybersecurity solutions to protect critical assets. Conduct security assessments and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security measures into the development lifecycle of products and systems.cyber security policies and procedures Contribute to regular security assessments and risk analyses Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE 1+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field. Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and best practices. Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java for automation and scripting tasks. WE VALUE Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics. Experience with security compliance frameworks such as NIST or ISO. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
