Customer Support Specialist
About the Role
Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Customer Support Specialist in East Syracuse, NY
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Onsite (to transition into Hybrid) - East Syracuse, NY 13057
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Pay rate: $20-$21.50/hr
Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls and cases, resolving customer inquiries while delivering a positive customer experience.
- Support distributors, dealers, and end-users with warranty coverage, claims, and product-related questions.
- Accurately document all customer interactions, ensuring complete and up-to-date records.
- Follow established processes and call flows while adapting communication to meet customer needs.
- Process, track, and follow up on warranty claims, providing timely updates and accurate information.
- Meet performance metrics, escalate complex issues as needed, and collaborate with teams while supporting training and documentation updates.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, warranty support, or a related role.
- Experience using systems such as ServiceBench, Salesforce, or SAP.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with customer-focused approach.
- Ability to analyze customer data, identify trends, and support process improvements.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
