Custodian (8 Hour Position-full Time - Dchs)

Dawson County High School is looking for dependable custodians to help keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff. If you take pride in your work and enjoy making a difference behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do:

• Clean classrooms, restrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
• Empty trash and restock supplies
• Set up and take down spaces, furniture, and equipment for school activities and events
• Perform minor repairs and report maintenance needs
• Help maintain school grounds and outdoor areas
• Respond to spills and unexpected clean-up needs
• Secure the building at the end of shifts

What we're looking for:

• Reliable and able to work independently
• Good attention to detail and time management
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout shifts
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods (experience a plus, not required)
• Ability to complete required pre-employment screenings, including a custodial physical
