Novant Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team. This role works directly with radiologists and staff to prepare patients and operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic scans. Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain the process clearly

  • Safely and effectively operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images

  • Adapt procedures to meet the age-specific needs of patients

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

  • Collaborate with radiologists and team members to ensure exceptional care

  • Support a safe, patient-centered environment in line with “First Do No Harm” principles

Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED, Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology

  • Preferred: Associate Degree

  • Inpatient requirement: Graduate of a JCERT-accredited school of Radiology and/or military health system program

  • Certification Path:

    • If not CT-registered, must complete ARRT post-primary certification in CT within 12 months of hire (18 months for incumbents in CT Tech roles)

Experience
  • Preferred: One year of experience in CT scanning

Licensure/Certification
  • Required: ARRT, CT Registry (if outpatient – IDTF or HOPD)

  • Preferred: CT Registry (if inpatient)

Additional Skills
  • Strong analytical ability and basic computer skills

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to adapt procedures to meet patient-specific needs
