We‘re hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Montesano, WA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Minimum Requirements
Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college. Active Washington State COTA license or eligible to hold an active Washington State COTA license prior to start. Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment preferred. Demonstrated competency with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and documentation in an electronic medical record preferred. Ability to follow a licensed OT‘s plan of care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Assignment Details
Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Days . Schedule: 5x8 (work week typical for this assignment). Assignment Length: 14 weeks. Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week. Role: COTA under supervision of licensed OT.
