About the Role
We‘re hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Eastland, TX. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Apply and a recruiter will reach out with the details.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active Texas State COTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required by the client.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility required.
- Client requires experience with ADL training and therapeutic modalities commonly used in post-acute and long-term care settings.
- Ability to work within established care plans under OT supervision.
- Preferred: prior travel COTA experience and experience with electronic medical records. These items are preferred, not required.
