We’re working with a well-established construction business seeking a Cost Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
Key Responsibilities for Cost Accountant- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice coding, approvals, and vendor reconciliations
- Support month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Assist with job costing, budget tracking, and variance analysis across projects
- Maintain accurate records, support audits, and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (construction or job costing preferred)
- Working knowledge of general ledger accounting and Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
