Corporate Development Counsel
About the Role
A company is looking for a Corporate Development Counsel. Key Responsibilities Structure, draft, and negotiate transaction documents for acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments Lead and manage the legal due diligence process, coordinating with internal specialists and summarizing findings for stakeholders Serve as the primary legal advisor to the Corporate Development team, providing strategic advice on deal structures and negotiation strategy Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with active membership in at least one state bar At least 4 years of relevant legal experience focused on M&A, including experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements Experience at a law firm in its M&A/Corporate practice is strongly preferred Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects in high-pressure situations Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools or legal technology is a plus
