Title: Controller
Location: Venice, FL (Onsite)
Salary: Up to $130,000 + bonus

Key Responsibilities for the Controller:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Implement and monitor internal controls, accounting policies, and best practices to ensure compliance with GAAP and company standards.
- Partner with operations and manufacturing leadership to optimize cost accounting, inventory management, and production efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement.
- Support external audits and maintain strong relationships with banking, audit, and tax partners.
Qualifications for the Controller:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or management role within accounting or finance.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory control, and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills with a hands-on management style.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment.
