About the Role
Controller – Seabrook, NH
CFS is partnering with a well-established and growing organization in the Seabrook, NH area to identify a talented Controller to join their leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to make a high-impact contribution in a dynamic environment.
The Controller will oversee all accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with applicable regulations. The Controller will play a key role in strategic decision-making and partner closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance. This Controller position offers visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to build and optimize processes.
Salary Range: $160,000 – $180,000 + 10-15% bonus
Responsibilities:- Lead all day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and provide insight to executive leadership
- Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Oversee audit processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff
- Partner cross-functionally to support operational and financial goals
- CPA *MUST HAVE*
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience improving processes and implementing efficiencies
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
