Salary: $125,000 – $140,000 + Bonus Potential
Location: Brownsburg, IN (Fully Onsite)

Position Overview
Our client, a well-established and reputable construction-focused organization, is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting function. With a strong backlog of projects and a history of steady growth, this organization offers both stability and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. The Controller will serve as a key financial leader, partnering closely with executive management to support operational and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Lead WIP reporting, job costing, and percentage-of-completion accounting
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of project financials across multiple jobs and locations
• Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and oversee audit processes
• Evaluate and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
• Construction or project-based accounting experience required
• Strong knowledge of WIP schedules, job costing, and revenue recognition
• Proven ability to lead teams and improve processes
