The Contracts Specialist will work closely with legal, compliance, and regulatory leadership in a stable, purpose‑driven environment that values precision, accountability, and long‑term commitment.
Key Responsibilities of the Contracts Specialist- Review commercial contracts against approved templates, identifying variances and potential risk while escalating issues as the Contracts Specialist
- Support contract lifecycle management activities, including coordination, documentation, and internal tracking, as the Contracts Specialist
- Provide administrative and coordination support for regulatory compliance efforts, including NERC‑related documentation, as the Contracts Specialist
- Serve as a liaison among internal stakeholders, outside counsel, and regulatory partners to support contract and compliance activities as the Contracts Specialist
- Maintain organized, audit‑ready records and support contract and compliance workflows across departments as the Contracts Specialist
- At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal or legal specialist supporting commercial contracts or regulatory compliance
- Strong understanding of standard commercial legal terms with the ability to identify high‑risk or non‑standard clauses
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (redlining/track changes), SharePoint, Excel, and Teams; experience in regulated industries strongly preferred
