Computed Tomography Technologist – Travel Job

About the Role
Become a vital part of a team in Aberdeen, WA as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist at an outpatient facility. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scan equipment to deliver safe, quality patient care. The role includes performing CT procedures of an invasive nature and participating in on-call coverage.
Minimum Requirements:
Graduate of an AMA- or JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in CT or Radiologic Technologist registry as required by the facility. Two years of diagnostic radiology experience preferred; at minimum, demonstrated competency in CT procedures is required. Possess knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy. Experience operating a Toshiba Aquilion 64-slice CT scanner or similar multislice CT equipment preferred. BLS certification. Ability to safely lift and move patients and equipment, including lifting up to 40 pounds from floor to wheelchair or waist.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with contrast administration and interpretation of scanning protocols. Prior experience performing invasive CT procedures. Previous work in outpatient imaging settings.
Assignment Details
Monday to Friday. Shift hours: 1500 to 2330. 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week. Must participate in on-call coverage. Work may require moderate to heavy physical effort and proper body mechanics for patient transport.
