Computed Tomography Technologist – Travel Job
About the Role
Become a vital part of a hospital team in Columbia, MO as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT and X-ray equipment for adult acute care, emergency department, and outpatient patients.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years CT technologist experience required.
- Experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department settings required.
- Experience performing portable radiographs required.
- Proficiency in routine CT exams including head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, CTA head/carotid, and PE studies required.
- Experience with general radiography procedures: chest, abdomen, extremities, spine/pelvis, head, and musculoskeletal imaging required.
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiography program or equivalent.
- Current ARRT (R) certification required. ARRT Advanced certification preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
- State radiologic license required. (NY State license was listed in order notes; confirm state licensing requirements prior to assignment.)
- Minimum 2 years experience overall required. First-time travel clinicians accepted.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Nights.
- Shift schedule: Night 5x8-hour (23:00 - 07:00).
- Combined role: X-ray and CT technologist responsibilities.
- Patient population: Primarily ED and inpatient exams with some outpatient exams.
- Required to perform portable radiographs.
- Return-to-office time off (RTO) parameters require manager approval.
