Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse

Medical Assistant or LPN – Otolaryngology (ENT) Chattanooga Ear, Nose & Throat Associates – Chattanooga, TN Chattanooga Ear, Nose & Throat Associates is seeking a reliable and patient-focused Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our busy specialty practice. This role is essential to supporting our providers and delivering efficient, high-quality care to our patients. Position Summary The Medical Assistant/LPN provides clinical support to physicians and advanced practice providers, assists with ENT procedures, performs patient intake, and supports overall clinic flow in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Room patients, obtain vital signs, and complete medication reconciliation Assist providers with ENT procedures including nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, cerumen removal, and other in-office treatments, and surgeries Administer injections, perform phlebotomy, and assist with medications as appropriate Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and post-operative care Perform telephone and in-office triage; escalate clinical concerns appropriately Clean, disinfect, and maintain ENT instruments and scopes Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record Support efficient patient flow and communicate effectively with providers and team members Qualifications Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA preferred) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Prior experience in ENT, specialty clinic, or ambulatory care preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinic Experience with EHR systems (Modernizing Medicine or similar preferred) Work Schedule and Benefits Full-time, Monday through Friday Daytime hours; no weekends Health, Vision, Dental, generous holidays, PTO, and Profit Sharing/401-k Why Join Us Established, physician-led specialty practice Team-oriented, supportive work environment Opportunity to gain experience in a surgical specialty Competitive compensation and benefits If you are dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to excellent patient care, we encourage you to apply.
