About the Role
Cleaning Technician
Independently perform Residential and Commercial carpet cleaning, tile & grout cleaning, upholstery cleaning, strip & wax, and occasionally assist with water extraction and restoration services.
Responsibilities include:
- Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services the company offers
- Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
- Communicate effectively with customers.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
- Inspect completed work.
- Complete the technician's daily log.
- Complete Work Orders.
- Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
- Maintain inventory of related supplies.
- Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
- Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
Compensation includes hourly pay with attractive bonus and commission incentives.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
- Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
- Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
- 1 year of floor cleaning experience required, and/or some form of specialty cleaning preferred (i.e. Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, etc.)
- Highly Desired Certificates from Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT)* preferred, but not required
- Opportunities to advance into: Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT), Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT), Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD), Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS), Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician (FSRT)

Compensation: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of floor cleaning experience
- IICRC CCT certification preferred but not required
