The facility comprises more than 40 different facilities that serve the entire region. Traditional acute care services are complemented by mission-based services to support the care continuum for all members of the community. About the Facility Location Michigan offers diverse attractions including museums of American innovation, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Pictured Rocks along with scenic rail excursions and nature areas. The state features unique destinations such as Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary and distinctive cultural sites that provide experiences for visitors. Activities range from outdoor recreation like fishing and camping in the Upper Peninsula to cultural attractions and sightseeing opportunities throughout the region. About the Clinician's Workday The nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgery coverage working 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week including weekends, nights, and weekdays. The clinician will collaborate with the surgical team to ensure continuity of care across the cardiothoracic surgery service line. The position requires board certification and prescriptive authority for comprehensive patient management. Daily responsibilities include managing surgical cases and maintaining accurate documentation for all patient encounters.
