The nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgery coverage with first assisting proficiency in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resection cases. The clinician will manage OR duties as well as telemetry and ICU responsibilities across multiple care settings. Call duties include 1-2 call days per week with one weekend per month beginning 7 AM Friday through 7 AM Monday. Weekend responsibilities encompass inpatient rounds, procedures, and surgical duties to ensure continuity of care. Additional Job Details Case Load/PPD: Variable Support Staff: none needed.
