About the Role
A nationally recognized health system is seeking a pioneering and compassionate Cardio-Oncologist to join its growing Cardiovascular Institute.
The incoming physician will help lead the integration of cardiac care throughout the oncology journey, serving as a dedicated expert across a large regional network of hospitals and clinics.
+ Provide expert consultation for patients receiving potentially cardiotoxic therapies, including Anthracyclines, HER2-targeted agents, and Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors (ICIs)
+ Lead advanced surveillance strategies utilizing global longitudinal strain (GLS) echocardiography and cardiac biomarkers to detect early myocardial injury
+ Collaborate closely with a large multidisciplinary cardiovascular and oncology team to develop individualized, heart-healthy treatment and recovery plans
+ Support the strategic growth of specialized cardio-oncology pathways within a centralized cardiovascular program
+ Manage long-term cardiovascular risks in cancer survivors, including radiation-induced heart disease and chemotherapy-related heart failure
+ Advanced training or significant experience in Cardio-Oncology preferred
+ Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
+ Expertise in cardiovascular complications related to modern oncology therapies and advanced cardiac imaging
