BUSINESS LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (Mid-Level) Location: Washington DC HYBRID Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a talented mid-senior level Associate Attorney to join their Business Litigation Practice in Washington DC . This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level litigator to work on complex, high-exposure trial matters with a collaborative and dynamic litigation team. Candidate Profile JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record Active Bar Admission in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia , in good standing. Law Review or Clerkship experience is a plus. 4+ years of substantive commercial, business litigation experience. Experience with federal court litigation is also a plus. Demonstrated stand-up experience, including taking and defending depositions and courtroom advocacy Proven legal research, writing , and analytical capabilities Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently Highly motivated and driven, with a strong commitment to exceptional client service and effective teamwork Key Responsibilities Manage and assist with high-stakes business litigation matters across industries Conduct discovery , including taking and defending depositions Draft and argue motions and briefs in state and federal courts Participate in trial preparation , hearings , and courtroom proceedings Collaborate with senior attorneys and litigation teams to develop case strategies Communicate effectively with clients, co-counsel, and internal teams Why Join Us?
