The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll workflows, compliance requirements, and ERP systems. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with HR, Finance, and IT to ensure efficient and compliant payroll operations, from requirements gathering through implementation and ongoing support. This is a fully remote role, offering flexibility and a dynamic team environment. You must reside in the US; No 3rd parties. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Finance departments to gather and document business requirements for payroll processes. Analyze current payroll workflows, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to streamline operations. Work with technical teams to implement and configure payroll functionalities within ERP systems. Conduct data analysis and reporting on payroll metrics to monitor efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Lead system testing efforts, ensuring payroll configurations and workflows meet business needs and compliance standards. Develop user documentation, process guides, and training materials for payroll-related systems. Troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues, acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. Requirements Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Business Analyst, with a focus on payroll processes within any ERP system. ERP Knowledge: Familiarity with any ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or PeopleSoft. Payroll Expertise: Strong understanding of payroll workflows, compliance regulations, and best practices. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze payroll data, interpret trends, and translate business needs into technical requirements. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Problem Solving: A proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions within payroll systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience with payroll implementations or system upgrades in any ERP environment. Knowledge of payroll compliance requirements, including tax and regulatory standards.
