Job Title: Business Analyst III Location: San Antonio, TX, United States Type: Contract Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Contractor Work Model: Onsite Overview: This is an exciting and fulfilling opportunity supporting our clients Information Technology Team. We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst III who is eager to contribute and grow. This role will collaborate with internal business partners to review, analyze, and evaluate business needs, translating them into system solution requirements that support overall business strategies. This position plays a key role in supporting solutions across multiple projects and locations. Responsibilities Coordinate enterprise-level solution enhancements and promote best practices across business systems Gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support solution delivery Support interoperability requirements aligned with project IT execution plans Analyze and document business processes using established methodologies Map and evaluate complex end-to-end workflows and data flows Recommend and implement system enhancements aligned with business and technology strategy Develop and execute QA test plans and document results Identify, research, and resolve issues proactively; communicate updates to stakeholders Support solution adoption and transition from implementation to operations Assist in designing and automating reports and tools Analyze and summarize large datasets to support decision-making Lead cross-functional teams and work across organizational levels Act as liaison between business units and technical teams as needed Collaborate with other analysts to ensure knowledge sharing and transparency Maintain understanding of business operations, service lines, and departments Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise methodologies and technologies Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field 5 years of business analysis or relevant experience Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, systems, and technology Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, or Azure DevOps Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Ability to interpret complex data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Business Analyst certification (CBAP or similar) (preferred) Experience within Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) environments (preferred) Knowledge of data management, databases, and project data lifecycles (preferred) Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar (preferred) Experience developing automated reporting solutions from multiple data sources (preferred) Familiarity with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) Project Management or Agile certification (preferred) Preferred Qualifications Business Analyst certification (CBAP or similar) Experience within Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) environments Knowledge of data management, databases, and project data lifecycles Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar Experience developing automated reporting solutions from multiple data sources Familiarity with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) Project Management or Agile certification System One, and its subsidiaries including Joul and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
