Business Analyst - Chicago

Job Title

Utilizes information management tools as well as various data sources, to uncover and determine root causes of data governance issues. Works closely with internal business users and clients (data owners) to resolve data governance issues. Takes a hand's on approach to data governance. Create a baseline for use in periodic data governance reviews and audits. Defines the degree of data governance required for all data elements and the values required for each element to support data usage. Collaborates with data architects to incorporate data governance screening/tests for data elements into data sourcing processes (ETL). Articulates the need for and benefits of data governance to vendors, client groups, system users, and other stakeholders. Identifies and leverages opportunities to continually improve the governance of data management systems, processes, policies, and standards. Engages and partners with 3rd party vendors, internal development, and other parties as needed. Establishes data governance metrics and provides reports on metrics attainment.

Minimum Compensation: USD 35,000 Maximum Compensation: USD 123,000 Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
