About the Role
A growing organization is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage daily accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and support operational workflows. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate coding
- Process AP and AR transactions, including invoices, payments, and customer receipts
- Perform bank and account reconciliations on a regular basis
- Prepare basic financial reports, summaries, and internal statements
- Support month‑end tasks such as accruals, reconciliations, and schedule preparation
- Assist with vendor communication, customer inquiries, and internal department support
- Maintain organized financial records and support audit or documentation requests
- Monitor cash flow activity and assist leadership with reporting needs
Qualifications
- Bookkeeping or accounting support experience required
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, and general ledger fundamentals
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Detail‑oriented with strong accuracy and follow‑through
- Effective communicator with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured environment
