About the Role
A company is looking for an AWS Assessor to join their team for a government contract. Key Responsibilities Implement security strategies for cloud-based environments and conduct cloud security assessments Analyze vulnerabilities and risks, and prepare security compliance reports from cloud assessments Review and analyze cloud system artifacts to support authorization to operate (ATO) requests Required Qualifications Must be able to obtain a DoED Level 6 High Risk/Public Trust Security Clearance Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least five years of related experience Five years of experience as a Security Controls Assessor or similar role focused on cloud security Experience with cloud security architecture, network security, and identity management AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification or higher and relevant certifications like CRISC or CAP
