Key Responsibilities Represent clients in workers' compensation proceedings Conduct legal research, analyze complex issues, and draft legal documents Attend hearings and depositions Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients Effectively manage time and follow firm procedures Collaborate with all levels both internal and external Develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues Required Skills and Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Active membership in the California State Bar Ability to identify and analyze complex legal issues and devise solutions Proactive, client‑centered, and tech‑savvy Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Superior organizational, multi‑task, and prioritization skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods while working on a computer Sufficient dexterity to operate a keyboard and other office equipment Ability to observe details, read printed materials, and view computer screens Ability to communicate verbally in person and over the phone Ability to move within an office environment and operate office equipment Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 15 pounds as needed Ability to travel to court as required Location Remote Optional In‑office: Agoura Hills, Oxnard, Encino, Inland Empire, Long Beach, Orange County, Sacramento, San Diego Compensation & Benefits Albert & Mackenzie offers a competitive compensation package: multiple bonus opportunities, and generous benefits including medical, vision, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, and life insurance benefits, as well as a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and an optional voluntary dental plan.
