About the Role
Dooley Noted Law is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and self-motivated general practitioner with prior litigation/trial experience. This role offers ideal flexibility—work when, where, and how you want, without the constraints of a traditional firm structure. This position gives you control over your schedule and caseload while still providing the support of a collaborative legal team. Experience in Estate Planning, Family Law (Including Contested and Uncontested), and Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy is a significant advantage. Please note that compensation is based strictly on a 50/50 revenue split. You will be compensated 50% revenue split for all cases originated through our referral partners and 60% for cases you generate. There is no starting salary; it’s purely based on your efforts. This is a full time W2 position. Key Responsibilities Case Management: Independently manage a diverse caseload from inception to resolution, with guidance and mentorship available as needed. Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear, professional, and consistent communication throughout the legal process. Legal Research and Writing: Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, demand letters, and other legal documents. Limited Court Appearances: Represent clients in court, mediation, and arbitration, as necessary, with support from senior attorneys. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective case strategies tailored to each client’s needs and objectives. Time Management: Set and manage your own work schedule to efficiently handle case demands while meeting deadlines and client expectations. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other attorneys and legal staff within the firm, while developing the independence to manage your own cases. Ethics and Professionalism: Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics in all interactions. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active Florida State Bar membership and in good standing (or pending bar results). Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. 3 years of legal experience *REQUIRED* Bi-lingual is a plus, but not required. Licensed in multiple states is a significant plus, but not required.
