This is not a traditional salaried role. Attorneys operate as independent contractors, supported by the firm’s platform, brand, and administrative systems. The Opportunity We are seeking an attorney with construction and regulatory compliance expertise to support ongoing client needs across contracts, licensing, and risk management. This role is primarily focused on: Advise on California construction law and compliance. Review and negotiate construction contracts. Handle disputes and regulatory issues. Provide practical, business-oriented guidance. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail oriented, and comfortable handling sophisticated matters independently. Qualifications JD from an accredited law school. 6 to 15 years of experience in construction law and regulatory frameworks. Ability to independently manage matters. Portable book of business. A passion for collaboration and delivering top-tier client results. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. A culture of kindness, respect, and integrity. Compensation and Structure There is no base salary. Compensation is tied directly to billings generated from matters assigned to and handled by the attorney. In addition to your practice, you will be supporting and receiving work generated by the firm’s established client relationships and referral channels.
