About the Role
Lap of Love seeks a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice care and euthanasia for companion animals. In this field-based role, you will conduct quality-of-life assessments, develop palliative care plans, and perform peaceful, at-home euthanasia with exceptional empathy. You’ll support families through difficult decisions, deliver clear medical guidance, and offer grief-sensitive communication. Collaborating with a dedicated, mission-driven team, you’ll help ensure dignified farewells while upholding Lap of Love’s high standards of veterinary care and emotional support.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
- DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary degree
- Licensed veterinarian in applicable state
- Experience in in-home hospice or end-of-life care preferred
