Associate Program Director (APD) for a new Emergency Medicine Residency Program
. This is an exciting opportunity to help build and shape a residency program within a rapidly expanding academic health system and a newly established osteopathic medical school.

Service area of more than 200,000 patients across Washington County and neighboring regions in West Virginia and Pennsylvania ·
Nearly 4,000 trauma cases per year ·
Transitioning from a Level III to a Level II Trauma Center ·

Support the
development, ACGME accreditation, and implementation
of a new Emergency Medicine Residency Program ·
Assist in building a program grounded in clinical excellence, innovation, and community-focused care ·
Provide leadership in curriculum development, resident education, and program evaluation ·
Serve as a key educator and mentor for residents and medical students Administrative and clinical responsibilities will be structured to support both program development and clinical practice. $425,000 base salary plus sign on bonus Key Responsibilities

Assist the Program Director with preparation and submission of ACGME accreditation materials ·
Participate in curriculum design, implementation, and continuous improvement ·
Supervise, teach, and mentor residents in clinical and didactic settings ·
Contribute to resident evaluation, feedback, and milestone assessment processes ·
Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding of residents ·
Ensure compliance with ACGME and institutional policies ·
Participate in scholarly activity, quality improvement, and program innovation

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • MD or DO physician with Emergency Medicine board certification
  • ACGME accreditation experience preferred
