Specific responsibilities Assistant Controller:
- Manage month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed assets, prepaid(s) and accruals, revenue recognition and financial statement preparation
- Prepare budgets / forecasts and provide ongoing financial reporting and analysis to support management decision-making
- Familiarity with job costing, WIP and inventory
- Ability to conduct account analysis and account reconciliation to identify discrepancies
- Prepare all work papers for external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation
- Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls
- Ability to assist other departments when needed (hands-on) and perform other related duties as assigned
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed

- The position works effectively and relates well with others including superiors, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the Company
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
- 7-10 years of experience
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing setting
