Armed Security Officer - Part Time

Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.; Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information through established channels.; Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.; Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and critical infrastructure points, verifying access permissions and following post orders for escorted entry, deliveries, and/or contractor activity.; Support public-facing operations by giving directions, answering routine questions, and communicating professionally with staff, visitors, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed.
