Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Physical Therapy Assistant, providing treatment and exercise guidance under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role involves delivering compassionate care to patients ranging from newborns to the elderly, ensuring their rehabilitation goals are met effectively.

• Adhere to organizational mission, vision, and values while maintaining patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Foster strong communication and professional relationships with patients, families, healthcare team members, and external agencies.
• Perform duties within the scope defined by certification boards and departmental policies.
• Assess patient needs accurately and develop, implement, and update comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients on physical therapy processes and exercises to support recovery.
• Complete timely and precise documentation following established protocols.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support department goals.

This position does not include supervisory or management duties.

• Education meeting licensure requirements at the time of issuance.
• Preferred: Previous experience in a similar clinical environment.

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license from the appropriate state board.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation.
• If driving is required, a valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting regional requirements.

• Basic understanding of Occupational Therapy principles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications.

This role involves medium physical work, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent standing or walking for 26-50% of the workday. Accommodations may be provided as needed.
