Anesthesiology - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

• Schedule: 8/10/12 hour shifts (7:00 AM ‐ 3:30 PM / 7:00 AM ‐ 5:30 PM / 7:00 AM ‐ 7:30 PM)
• Job Setting: Hospital, 9 anesthesia rooms, EPIC charting system
• Types of Cases: General, supervising model with 4:1 CRNA to MD ratio
• Credentialing: 30 days

• Pre‐anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient‘s physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Yes
• Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse, Maryland license (willing to accept candidates that need to obtain state license)
• Education: Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
