Ai/ml Engineer

Overview We're looking for a strong software engineer with AI/ML expertise to join our AI & Data Analytics team. You will lead and contribute to impactful projects that leverage advanced machine learning, analytics techniques, and large language models (LLMs). Your primary responsibility will involve designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered features to enhance our platform's capabilities. Responsibilities Develop and implement machine learning models, including applications involving large language models (LLMs), to enhance product capabilities. Analyze structured and unstructured data, including text-based documents and event records. Conduct data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model validation. Utilize semantic search techniques, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) methods, and advanced LLM-based frameworks. Collaborate with product managers, software developers, and quality assurance teams to integrate and deploy AI features. Monitor, evaluate, and optimize model performance continuously. Required Qualifications Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields. 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer. 3+ years of practical experience in AI, machine learning, or related roles. Strong software engineering skills: clean code, testing, API development. Proficiency in Python and key libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, and NumPy. Hands-on experience working with and integrating LLMs in production systems. Experience in semantic search, document retrieval, text analytics, and prompt engineering. Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and their relevant services. Robust analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Preferred Qualifications Track record of shipping ML features that are actively used in production. Experience processing regulatory documents, compliance texts, or technical documentation in regulated industries. Experience fine-tuning LLMs and developing RAG systems. Prior experience within SaaS or life sciences sectors. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and machine learning deployment processes. Knowledge of vector databases and modern AI application architectures. Soft Skills Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to translate complex technical solutions into understandable insights for business stakeholders. Experience working in cross-functional teams and agile development environments.
