Urgent Care Provider (NP or PA) – Full Time

Greater Oklahoma City, OK

SSM Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant  to join our busy Urgent Care clinic in the north Oklahoma City area . The clinic is conveniently located near major highways and offers a team-based practice environment.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule:  14 twelve-hour shifts per month
  • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and 1-2 Saturdays each month. 
• Operation:   Clinic operates 7 days a week
• Staffing:  Dedicated support team including Medical Assistants and Office Assistants
• On-site Services:  X-ray and laboratory services available
• Patient Population:  Treat patients of all ages

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive urgent care within the full scope of licensure
• Evaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care)

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-year experience as a practicing provider
• Active, unrestricted Oklahoma NP or PA license
• Board-certified or board-eligible
• PA: NCCPA
• NP: ANCC or AANP (FNP required )
• Active DEA  (or ability to obtain)
• BLS certification
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• EHR proficiency
• Willingness to work occasional weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast track experience
• Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)
• Experience with initial X-ray interpretation
