Cardiology Advanced Practitioner (PA or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner)
to join our dynamic team serving the greater Shawnee area and surrounding communities in central Oklahoma.
Position Summary:
The Cardiology Advanced Practitioner will work closely with cardiologists to provide high-quality care for patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This role offers a collaborative environment with strong support and no call responsibilities, allowing you to focus on patient care and professional growth.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:
Prior experience managing cardiology patients as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
Education:
Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) program
Certification:
PA-C or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certified
Licensure:
Ability to obtain PA/NP licensure in the State of Oklahoma
Job Details:
Primarily outpatient cardiology clinic with inpatient consult rounding
Anticipated schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Clinic Location: Connected to the hospital for seamless patient care
Patient Volume:
20+ patients per day in clinic
10–12 inpatient consults per day once fully onboarded
Additional Duties: Some Nuclear Medicine supervision for studies
Referral Base: Large primary care network serving 7 towns in the greater Shawnee area
Support Staff: Full office support including MA/LPN and office assistant
