INPATIENT ADULT PSYCHIATRY

District Medical Group, Inc., (DMG) , a large multi-specialty faculty practice group is seeking an I npatient Attending Psychiatrist for our adult inpatient program to staff Valleywise Behavioral Health Center in Mesa, Arizona. The ideal candidate must enjoy working with hospitalized, seriously mentally ill patients. 60;

Opportunity Details:

• Caseload is 9-10 patients

• Collaboration with a psychiatric nurse practitioner

• Teaching of rotating medical students, with faculty appointment available to the Creighton University School of Medicine and the University of Arizona College of Medicine, both in Phoenix. 60;

This is a full-time position with all benefits, including

• Four weeks of paid time off

• One week of CME (with an annual CME allowance of $4,000)

Candidates must be Board certified or in the process of Board certification and must possess an Arizona medical license prior to beginning employment.
