Our client in San Antonio, Texas is seeking an Accounting Office Assistant to join their growing team. This organization manages multiple entities, creating a fast-paced, high-volume environment where no two days are the same. Primary Responsibilities
Manage and maintain corporate accounts
Prepare and process invoices in an accurate and timely manner
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Set up and maintain new vendor accounts
Prepare accounts payable checks and assist with check runs
Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation
Perform account analysis as needed
Assist with accounts receivable functions and special projects
Complete credit card and bank reconciliations
Support management of corporate licenses and compliance items
Assist the Controller with ad hoc projects and initiatives
Perform additional duties as assigned
Experience Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred but not required
Minimum of 1 year of accounts payable or related experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
